Get Well Soon, John!

My friend, Becky Schultea, over at Just Bee and Me, is a very happy woman. One of the main reasons for her recent spurt of all things joyful is this guy right here:

John Schultea is the sort of guy you like right away.  He’s kind and loving and treats Becky like the princess we’ve all known and loved for the past 30 years. I met him during their courtship and believe you me, it didn’t take a rocket scientist to realize Becky had found herself a keeper. Watching those two swirl about the dance floor was one of those surreal moments that make you believe butterfly kisses aren’t so sappy after all.

We’ve been missing John and Becky. They’re too much fun. Sources hinted at a Schultea invasion before the end of this month, a prospect that had the mister and I wringing our hands with gleeful anticipation.

On Easter Sunday, John took a spill rounding third, heading into home during a family softball game, landing on his left hand  and sustaining what’s officially known as a boo-boo. Unfortunately this boo-boo involved surgery and Vicodin.

Get well soon, Johnny! You’re much loved and in our prayers for a speedy recovery
